Leaving bags in Myeongdong: what to know
There are three places to leave bags in Myeongdong. Two sit near Myeongdong Station, on Myeongdong 2-gil and Myeongdong 8-ga-gil, three to four minutes on foot from the station. The third is inside the Euljiro underground arcade, three minutes from an exit of Euljiro 3-ga Station.
The Euljiro shop is listed under Myeongdong, but it is a good fifteen-minute walk from Myeongdong Station. Come out at Euljiro 3-ga Station instead and it is much closer. Being underground, it also keeps you dry on a rainy day.
You can also choose by the clock. One shop opens at 8:30 in the morning, so you can drop your bags right after hotel check-out. Another stays open until 10:30 at night, which helps if you are out until late.
Myeongdong is a neighbourhood you see on foot. The lanes are narrow and busy, and a suitcase slows you down more than you expect. Leave it first and you will see far more in the same afternoon.

How is this different from a subway locker?
